My users are running Notes 6.0.2 CF2 on Windows XP. Notes crashed everytime when they click the View button after receiving an RTF attachment in their email which is named starting with a tilda.
i.e. ~892374893.RTF
Can anyone else duplicate this error ?
Is there a known fix ?
DUPLICATING CRASH
1. Open a RTF file with any file name in your mailbox.
2. After MS Word Launches click File - Sent To - Mail Recipient. Sent email to any user.
3. User opens email and clicks the View button which has file such as ~89172823.RTF.
NOTE: All the users have MS Word 97. "Enable MS Office 97 SendTo to Notes" is selected in Lotus Notes preferences. Lotus Notes is selected as E-mail client in Control Panel - Internet Properties - Programs.
